Congratulations Mr & Mrs Norris

Saturday 14th September saw the wedding of Tracy & Mick here at Brean Country Club. Tracy spent the early afternoon getting ready in our wedding lodge having hair and makeup done and looked stunning in a fitted dress with vintage look lace and the most amazing pair of heels. The weather was beautiful & the sun shone into the Kingfisher suite highlighting the golden sashes chosen by the Bride & Groom.  The aisle was lined with cream petals and beautiful bird cage lanterns as Mick awaited his bride along with their family & friends music by Elvis, Buddy Holly & Paul McCartney was played.  The Bride was fashionably late and at 2:05pm guests were upstanding as Tracy, accompanied by son Andrew made their way up the aisle to Barbara Streisand’s ‘Evergreen’. During the ceremony the couples friend Lorelei gave two readings wishing both Mr and Mrs Norris a lifetime of hope and happiness.

Whilst guests enjoyed drinks on the terrace Tracy & Mick went off with their driver & photographer on our Wedding golf buggy making the most of the panoramic views on the golf course. They also made a special stop off to their ‘home from home’ in Brean to get some pictures with the couples beloved dog Blue.

Once the new Mr and Mrs Norris were announced into the Kestrel Suite,  family and friends were seated to enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast consisting of Leek & Potato Soup,  Feather Blade of Beef and a refreshing Eton Mess.  The children kept busy making their way through our complimentary activity packs, they had particular fun using the fortune tellers with all the grownups, trying to get selfies with the happy couple and floss like a boss on the dance floor. (Think the adults might have got involved in that too)

After enjoying 3 sumptuous courses, Andrew led the speeches followed by some moving words from Groom Mick, detailing the memories of his and Tracy’s time together so far, speeches were finished off with words from best man Harry.

With the arrival of some more friends and family in the evening, the Bride & Groom cut their cake followed by their first dance to Rod Stewarts ‘Have I told you lately’  This left everyone to celebrate into the night with our resident DJ.

We hope the newlyweds enjoyed this special day and we wish them a healthy and happy life together and we thank them for letting us hold such a special day here at Brean Country Club.
