Accessibility Guide to Brean Country Club
Access to Brean Country Club
Vehicle access is via our dedicated entry road from Red Road. There are free disabled tarmac car parking spaces towards the entrance to the building. There are steps or a ramp to enter the Country Club.
Pedestrian access from Brean Leisure Park is possible from the leisure park car park however please note that ground conditions are variable and include grass, tarmac and gravel and therefore may not be suitable for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties.
Public Transport
There is no bus stop near the Country Club. The nearest bus stop is at the front entrance of Brean Leisure Park which is approximately 500m from Brean Country Club. Taxis are welcome to drop off and pick up from the Country Club.
Reception
Inside the entrance, you will find Reception. There is a wheelchair friendly lower counter.
Ground floor
The Lounge & Kestrel Suite – is fully accessible.
Golf pro shop – Direct access to the pro shop form outside is via a small set of steps. Entry for wheelchair users is via the main Country Club entrance and follow the signs. There are a disabled toilet and shower room for use.
1st floor
A set of stairs or the lift provides access to the 1st floor and the Kingfisher Suite. Upstairs there is also a disabled toilet. When booking to attend a function or event at the Country Club please make us aware if you are bringing a wheelchair so this can be allowed for on the seating arrangements for your party.
Food Allergens
If you or your guests have a food allergy please request to view our allergen folder before placing your order from a team member. If you are attending a function please let the person that invited you, know of any allergies you have. If you are looking to book a function please speak to our Events Co-ordinator and advise of any known allergens or dietary requests and a custom menu can be provided. When booking for an event online please specify in the requested box details of any allergens.
Golf Course
Our 18 hole course is generally of flat terrain however please note that many tees have sloped access and there are banks on the course. There are lakes and ditches and several bridges on the course.
Lodge Accommodation
We have 6 lodges available for hire. Access to the lodges is via four steps. Wheelchair access into the lodges is not possible. We do however have wheelchair caravan accommodation which has ramped access available at both Brean Leisure Park and Holiday Resort Unity which are part of our business operation. Some accommodation is close to a lake.
